Jorge Dominguez, M.D.

Jorge Dominguez, M.D. is a member of Herbalife’s Nutrition Advisory Board, based in Venezuela.  The board is made up of leading experts around the world in the fields of nutrition and health who educate and train Herbalife independent distributors on the principles of nutrition, physical activity and healthy lifestyle.

Based in Caracas, Dominguez is in private practice and specializes in internal medicine.

From the early 1970s through 2007, he has been affiliated with Miguel Perez Carreno Hospital in Caracas, first as chief of the nephrology section and hemodialysis unit; later as chief of the nephrology, dialysis and kidney transplant service; and chief of the hospital’s internal medicine department. 

Dominguez has published numerous research studies and presented at national and international conferences.  He attended Universidad Central de Venezuela, and did his residency and postgraduate work at the University Hospital of Caracas, and at University of Michigan Medical Center in Ann Arbor.
